Our Company
History
Benjamin West was founded in Boulder, Colorado in 1998 and is privately owned. Today, in addition to our Boulder headquarters, Benjamin West has offices in Chicago, Dallas, Maryland, and London, with a staff of over 100 professionals.

Our founder and President, Alan Benjamin, grew up in the hospitality industry as the son (and young employee!) of professionals in the hotel linen business, before branding out and starting his own business in the Rocky Mountain foothills near his alma mater, the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Since the company was founded, it has grown exponentially to a global team of procurement and accounting professionals, with specialist teams focused on exclusive markets globally.

Along with our team, our experience has grown immensely across all major brands, and nearly every product type and asset class. However, our values have never changed; we remain committed to accuracy, integrity, and reliability, and other guiding principals that allow us to achieve our mission and value.
Experience
We're proud to be the most experienced firm in our industry. We've worked in 40 countries and six territories around the world. Our team has hundreds of years of collective experience, along with extensive backgrounds in interior design, hospitality operations, hotel accounting, and real estate development.
